Rat is a neighbourhood specialty coffee shop. 

In it, we serve brunch made with mostly organic fresh produce, naturally leavened bread and truly free range eggs. We also brew coffee, tea and chocolate and serve pastries produced by people who share our passion for flavour and provenance. We use new and old techniques to make the most of the special stuff we’re lucky enough to be able to access.

We make as much as we can ourselves and are passionate about using waste diversion as a starting point for experimentation. 

As much as possible, we aim to offer something anyone can eat, that we think everyone should want to. As we grow we hope to be able to continue to increase the inclusivity of our offering.
